Changing Minds
Changing Minds is a community education program about the experience of mental illness. The goal of the program is to increase understanding of serious mental illness on the part of front-line workers and members of the wider community.
The program consists of 7 learning modules and 1 practice module. Each learning module provides information in presentation format and uses audio and video material to help participants better understand what it is like to live with a mental illness. The communication component of the program offers personal and group exercises designed to increase awareness and communication skills when interacting with people living with mental illness.
The program is presented as a two day workshop at a cost of $250 per participant.
